Frequently Asked Questions

What do you require prior to booking daycare or boarding?

Prior to booking daycare or boarding, new dogs must complete a 4-hour paid assessment. We do this to ensure they are a good fit for Paws Playtime.

Do I need a reservation for daycare?

We prefer that you book daycare 24 hours before, but if space is available, we are happy to try and accommodate day-of requests.

Do I need a reservation for boarding?

We prefer that you book boarding at least 48 hours before, but if space is available, we are happy to try and accommodate last-minute requests.

Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered?

We ask that all dogs in our care are either spayed or neutered. We do this to ensure the safety and happiness of all the pups, avoid any potential “accidents”, and avoid any agitation or aggression.

Does my dog need to have all of its vaccines up-to-date?

Yes, we ask that you please provide us with your pups’ proof of vaccinations which include Rabies, Bordatella, Distemper, Canine Influenza, and proof of current flea/tick treatment.

Should I bring my dog’s food?

Yes, we prefer that your dog stays on their regular diet. Please label the container/bag with the name and feeding directions.

Can you give my dog medication while they are staying with you?

Yes, we are happy to give your dog their necessary medication! Please label it and give us explicit directions. However, we are not a medical facility and are not equipped to provide shots or administer any complex medical treatment.
